Q: What are those little things on the hood of custom cars?
Well I was watching this show on tv where they make junk cars into custom show cars and on the hood are these little circles with strings or wires going into the engine. I was just curious to find out what these are? Can anyone help?
A: It sounds like you are describing hood pins – the pins attach to the radiator support and go through the hood where small clevis or circle retaining pins are inserted through the hood pins to assure that the hood cannot be opened unless the retaining pins are removed.

A: you use tons of layers, there are some great tutorial vids on youtube for this, give it a look. One will show you how to do Stewie Griffin, one does Harliquinn from the Batman series, I am sure there are more.
Just to hard to explain, have to see and learn from the video clips.
I usually got all my nice paint jobs from the auctionhouse, look for Fairlady Z’s as they are the most popular car for nice paint. Do not buy it if the paint job is locked, you wont be able to use it on other cars, I use them to sell the cars I get discounts on in the car dealer to sell them in the auctionhouse for full price or more.

A: Using Windows Explorer, go to /MyDocuments/EaGames/Sim2/
if there is another subdirectory /Downloads, put it there. Create the subdirectory if it isn’t there.

A: I like Haggarty best, BUT, in order to qualify for that type of policy, you have to meet strict requirements – like, the car can’t be regularly driven by you, you must have at least one other car in the household for every operator, you must put less than 5,000 miles a year on the car, you must keep it in a locked garage, you must be over 26. And, of course, you must have a valid appraisal to establish the agreed value.
DO NOT buy “stated value” coverage. It’s worse than actual cash value. You want “agreed value” coverage. Your agent can explain the difference – and if they can’t, then you need an agent that knows the difference.

A: There are die-cast kit cars that you put together, with the minorest of tools. The bodies are already painted, they may offer a couple choices of wheel combos … but it’s pretty simple to screw together. Unlike the old die-hard of the plastic model era. Of course, that is where talent really begins to muster, when you apply paint, glue, filing, sanding, etc. Much like the guys who get dirty building their own custom cars, actual size.
